FAQs

Do I need a referral?

No, you do not need a referral to receive a service. However, if you intend to claim a Medicare rebate you will need a plan set up by your GP or Paediatrician. See funding tab for details.

Do you have a waiting list?

From time to time we do have a waiting list. Our aim is to provide an appointment as soon as possible with the therapist that best suits your needs. Waiting times for individual therapists varies.

Do you offer after school appointments?

Yes, but please be aware after school times are our most sought after and are often booked well in advance. Our working hours are generally 9am to 5pm.

Are you a registered NDIS provider?

From December 2020 we will no longer be registered with NDIS. NDIS clients who are Self-Managed or Plan Managed can continue to be seen through our service.

Do I need to attend appointments with my child?

Preferably yes. Parents/caregivers are a valuable part of your child’s team. We encourage you to be present during OT sessions so you can see what we are working on and how these strategies can be implemented at home. Some children are better able to focus and participate with their parent not in the room, so in some cases we have a parent catch up at the end of sessions.

Do you provide telehealth services?

Yes. Our therapy team have developed our telehealth skills thanks to COVID 19 restrictions. This enables us to work with clients who live out of the Geelong region as well.
